Visiting Angels Disability-Care
Visiting Angels is the
nation's leading, nationally respected network of non-medical,
private duty home care.
People with disabilities and others who need daily living assistance
can now stay in the familiar, comfort of their own home, in
contrast to being up-rooted to an assistant living facility,
nursing home or having to depend on the availability of friends
and family to assist them.
Visiting Angels is here to help with experienced, caring caregivers
and non-medical, private duty home care.
Visiting Angels Personal Care by an HHA or CNA, provides
bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, incontinent care, physical
transfer, medication assistance, monitoring of clients condition
and companion services. Visiting Angels Companion Care
provides transport & accompaniment, shopping, medication
reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry and quality-time
companionship.
We begin by reviewing needs through an initial in-home assessment
; when necessary we consult with the family members of the care
recipient, physician(s), social workers, hospitals, or nursing
home staff.

Next, working in conjunction with the family, we develop an
individualized program to manage daily needs. We match needs
to the best possible caregivers, and then ask clients to participate
in the selection process.
After the caregiver has been placed in the client's home, we
continue our unique system of continued personalized contacts
through telephone check-in and home visits. Most important,
we continually communicate with everyone who may be involved
in providing oversight of the clients care. |
