screening system is designed to maximize your peace of mind.
You'll have the opportunity to interview any caregiver that
we refer to you. By thorough pre-screening, we make it easy
for you to choose a caregiver you can trust.
We Recruit Experience!
You deserve to
have a caregiver who is experienced in providing the services
that you need. Visiting Angels
doesn't believe in "on the job training!" Our
caregivers have a strong employment history in caring for people
in all spectrums of life and have references from reliable sources
(previous clients, agencies, healthcare institutions, religious
and volunteer organizations etc.). And Visiting
Angels requires multiple interviews with each caregiver
before they can be hired or referred to a client.
Character
Counts
Visiting Angels runs
comprehensive background screening on each new caregiver. However,
we also emphasize intangible traits such as a caring personality.
When you try our service, you'll be pleasantly surprised to
see that at Visiting Angels, character
matters!
You
Are In Charge
You are in
charge of everything. Because we are a non-medical agency and
not a nursing agency.
Visiting Angels staff
will not change your routine or your schedule (i.e. what time
to wake up, when to bathe, meal schedules etc.). You are the
boss. It is our job to adjust to you and to keep you comfortable
in your home.
Visiting
Angels Personal Care
by an HHA or CNA, provides
bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, incontinent care, physical
transfer, medication assistance, monitoring of clients condition
and companion services. Visiting Angels Companion Care
provides transport & accompaniment, shopping, medication
reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry and quality
companion time |

Personalized Care
We begin by reviewing your needs through discussions
with you, with your family members, and with your current
healthcare providers if necessary.
Then our service coordinator carefully selects the caregiver
with the necessary experience and personality that is best
suited to your needs. Next, we arrange for the caregiver to
visit your home so that you can participate in the selection
process.
After services begin, we implement our system of ongoing personalized
contacts with everyone who may be involved, to insure that
you continue to receive the best possible care. |
