Letters
From Our Client's Families
Dependable
Lifesaver...
One day
I received a call from one of my parent's neighbors. She said
she found my parents at a neighborhood intersection, just
sitting in their car. She said they seem very confused. I
knew that my parents were getting a little forgetful, but
this scared me. I called the rest of the family and said since
none of us are close enough to look in on our parents on a
daily bases, we need to get some help.
I had heard good things from a friend,
who had service by Visiting Angels, so I gave them a call.
I told them that my parents were in denial and we were sure
that they would resist any outside help. They assured me that
they were use to working with resistant clients and the secret
is the family being of one voice and finding the right match.
We decided to have a family intervention
and asked Visiting Angels to come out during the intervention,
for an assessment. My father basically told all of us to get
out, but the Visiting Angels representative stayed the course,
breaking the ice first with my mother and slowly with my father.
She picked the perfect caregiver, who
had a very good sense of humor and who could by humor dissipate
challenging situations.
We took the 7-day / 3-hour package,
so our parents now have the over-sight they need. Visiting
Angels also keeps our family in the loop, providing us with
care notes, guiding us as to what transpired during the week,
and the welfare of our parents.
On behalf of our whole family, we thank
Visiting Angels for the skilled, dependable, and compassionate
care they provide for our parents.
White
Lilies and White Roses...
They sent an all white vase, Rose, and Lily
flower arrangement, which added
warmth and beauty to our mother Jean's Memorial Service. We
thank all the "angels" who were sent to our mother
from Visiting Angels for their assistance and care of our
mother.
God Bless, Linda
Thanks
for the Angels...
Thanks for all your assistance while Mom and
I needed you. Mom and I enjoyed Rae and Myishh. We needed
their help more then I can express. They made our lives richer
and easier.
Myishh and Rae always put a smile on
Mom's face! I would recommend them to anyone!
Thanks so much for everything.
To
the Staff of Visiting Angels...
We wanted to take the time acknowledge the
professional service that Wayne Burnham delivered for my Dad.
Wayne's professionalism, character, and integrity represent
your company, "Visiting Angels", very well...
Thanks again,
Jim and Jan Caflman

Angels
- a Great Name for This Organization..
Our parents live in Largo,
Florida and the rest of our family lives in New Hampshire
and Massachusetts. Our father has been in poor health for
quite some time and our mother refused to receive any help
until about a year ago.
I watched an ad on television about Visiting
Angels and I gave them a call. They explained the services
and how the care plans for each client is unique to the individual
client.
They told us someone would come out to meet
with our parents and talk to my parents to get a good read
on what their needs were and which caregiver would be a good
fit for both of our parents.
It was so simple and unintimidating, my parents
felt at ease as they were told that there were no minimum
hours per week and the care plans were truly based on their
needs. They sent out two different caregivers for what they
called a meet and greet and my parents loved both of them.
The service started out once a week / 3-hours a day. This
gave my mother the opportunity to get out of the house to
do some shopping and errands. She gradually increased to 4-hours
/ 3-days a week until in the end they had to go to 24-hour
care.
It was a comfort to the whole family to know that we could
count on Visiting Angels to be there for our parents when
we could not.
Thank you, Visiting Angels
Terrific
Job in a Difficult Situation...
This letter is intended to
acknowledge the outstanding job, which your employees, Lenore,
Marguerite and Lori provided for my brother, Dan Sikorsky.
At a time when we needed someone to help, Lenore was there.
She assessed my brother's needs, made suggestions, and together
we were able to provide my brother with the help he needed.
She was professional, caring, compassionate, accommodating
and most of all a delight to work with... I cannot say
enough about how wonderful she was to us.
Lenore provided us with
us two unbelievable people, to help with my brother. They
were Marguerite and Lori.
My brother was not an easy person to help. He was plagued
with not only paralysis but also several other conditions
that caused him pain and made him uncomfortable, irritable,
and short.
Marguerite and Lori found a way in which to befriend
him and make his suffering a little less. The care they gave
him was indescribable. They made him laugh, they took him
to his appointments, and they helped him in many ways.
The most
important thing was they made him feel he was not alone and
that someone cared about him. The services, caring, and love they
provided Dan with will never be forgotten.
You are very fortunate to have in your employ
these three individuals. To them it was not just a job.
They provide companionship, love, and care for their
Dan and my entire family thanks them from the bottom of our
hearts.
My brother passed away cared for and loved not only by his
family and friends but by your employees. What a lucky
man he was.
Please let your employees know how much we
appreciated them.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
